Back from the mission of the Missions
Two nights in Monterey and 758 miles later we are finally home. We arrived at 11:30pm.
No getaway without Barnes & Nobles
We stopped by the Barnes and Nobles in Ventura for book shopping with our Christmas B&N gift cards. The bookstore itself is one of the best looking from the outside. I ended up with two Physics related books and one computer security book. All of which I’ve seen before at other B&Ns but left behind. Thanks for Jackie and the kids for brig patient for waiting during my book browsing time.
Lunch at the coast
Lunch at Nepenthe. The ambrosia burger and the chicken sandwiches are da’ bomb. Great food, service, and great views.
Exploring at the seashore
We skipped the $38 dollar fee at the Monterey aquarium and headed to the seashore to explore the seashore wildlife.
